Fill the Blank

How to play

The round

A prompt with a blank comes up. Everyone picks the card from their hand that fills it best (or worst). Some prompts want two or three cards: they fill the blanks in order. Lock in, and change your mind until the last player is done.

The reveal

Answers are revealed one at a time. When it is your turn, press Reveal and read your sentence out loud. With anonymous reveal, the judge or the host turns the cards and nobody knows whose is whose until the round is decided.

The winner

By vote: everyone votes for the funniest answer, never their own. Most votes scores a point; a tie gives each tied player a point. By judge: the judge rotates every round, plays no card and simply picks. First to the goal wins the game.

Two ways to play

On a TV: one screen is the board, everyone holds their hand on a phone. Join with the four-letter code or the QR code. Online: everyone at their own screen sees the table, their own hand and the chat. Share the link.

Coming and going

Close the page and you are "away": the table does not wait for you and your answer is revealed for you. Come back and you have the same seat, hand and score. New players can sit down between rounds; the host can remove anyone and skip a step that stalls.

Shortcuts

1–9 pick a card, Enter locks in or reveals, Esc closes windows, ? opens this help.
