Guess the World of Warcraft word in six tries. Every guess colours its letters:
ONYXIA
right spot in the word, wrong spot not in the word
Icon: name the spell, item or boss behind a blurred icon. Quote: say who spoke the famous line.
Nine puzzles a day, three each on Easy, Medium and Insane. Pick Easy to start.
Word
Guess the World of Warcraft word in six tries. Any letters of the right length count, no dictionary. The category and length are shown from the start; the expansion, a hint and the first letter unlock as you miss.
Icon
The icon of a spell, item, mount, boss, place or currency, zoomed in and blurred. Every miss sharpens it. Type a name and pick it from the list; only real names are accepted.
Quote
A famous in-game line. Who said it? Pick the speaker from the list. The expansion and the place it was said unlock as hints.
“You are not prepared!”
Easy, Medium, Insane
Pick a difficulty with the switch under the tabs; it applies to everything on the page. Easy asks for names every player knows and shows the expansion from the start, with the hint after two misses and the first letter after four. Medium is for regular players: expansion after one miss, hint after three, first letter after five. Insane is deep cuts for veterans: the expansion only after three misses, the hint after five, and never the first letter. Each difficulty has its own dailies, its own Streak runs and its own leaderboards, so there are nine dailies a day.
Daily, Endless, Streak
Daily is one shared puzzle per mode and difficulty, the same for everyone, reset at midnight UTC. The score server checks every guess and keeps the answer until you finish, so it needs a connection. Endless is random practice at the chosen difficulty with an expansion filter, works offline and does not touch your daily stats. Streak chains random puzzles with four guesses each until you miss; signed in, your runs are ranked. The Today chip beside the title shows the day's nine dailies, takes you to any of them and shares your day.
Versus
Play with friends. The Versus chip beside the title opens a private room for 2 to 4 players: share the code or the invite link, and the host picks the number of rounds, the seconds per round, the difficulty, an expansion, the kinds of puzzle and the teams. Every round everyone gets the same puzzle at the same moment and races the clock; you watch the others' guesses score live, but never what they typed. A solve is worth 300 points, plus up to 300 for time left, 40 per unused guess and 100 for being first.
Free for all is everyone on their own board. Shuffle (three or four players) deals new pairs every round, so after three rounds you have played with everyone: a pair shares one board and takes turns guessing, both get the points, and the ranking stays yours alone. With three players, one plays alone in turn. Co-op puts everybody on one board, one guess each in turn, with a shared score. Nothing is stored and no leaderboard counts it.
Leaderboards & account
Log in with Discord and your dailies and Streak runs are ranked. The trophy opens the board for what you are playing: today's solvers (fewest guesses, then fastest) or that mode's all-time points, and on the Streak tab the longest runs, each kept separately for Easy, Medium and Insane. The Overall board adds everything up: every daily win is worth 7 minus your guesses, times 1 on Easy, 2 on Medium or 3 on Insane, plus your longest Streak run on each difficulty weighted the same way. Points climb the standings, and your standing shows next to your name.
Only your Discord name and avatar are shown; nothing else is stored, and Delete my data in the account menu removes it all. Progress made before logging in today is kept.
